What's Included

Upstream carriers won't route your traffic without the right FCC filings on record, and today's STIR/SHAKEN rules mean unverified calls get blocked or labeled "Spam Risk" before they ever connect. We offer two clear packages so you know exactly what you become, what it costs, and what it protects you from, see the full breakdown of each below.

This service covers:

  • FCC Core registration & FRN (FCC Registration Number)
  • Form 499 Filer ID registration
  • Robocall Mitigation Database (RMD) filing
  • Operating Company Number (OCN) assignment - Complete package
  • Telecom Exemption Certificate setup - Complete package
  • STI-PA account creation & full STIR/SHAKEN certificate setup - Complete package

What to Expect

A quick reference before you order, what we'll need, how long it takes, and what you get back.

What You'll Need

  • Legal company name and Operating Company Number (OCN), if you have one
  • List of states where you currently provide service
  • Prior-year revenue figures (for USF worksheets, if applicable)

Typical Timeline

Initial regulatory intake takes 2-3 business days; most filings are submitted within 5-10 business days depending on the form and package. Recurring deadlines are then tracked automatically once you are on our Telecom Compliance & Carrier Onboarding retainer.

What You'll Receive

  • Copies of every filed form and confirmation number
  • A rolling regulatory calendar inside your portal
  • Filing status visible in your dashboard at every stage

Why It Matters

Avoid Fines & Revocation

Missed FCC filings can trigger penalties or loss of operating authority, we track every deadline before it arrives.

Better Call Deliverability

Full STIR/SHAKEN authentication means your calls carry real "A-Attestation" trust instead of getting flagged as spam.

Audit-Ready Records

Every filing, confirmation number, and certificate is stored and retrievable from your dashboard.

How It Works

1

Regulatory Intake

We review where and how your company provides service to map your exact filing obligations.

2

We Prepare Filings

Our compliance team drafts each required form and registration using your company data.

3

Review & Submit

You approve the draft, then we file directly with the FCC, NECA, and iconectiv as required.

4

Ongoing Tracking

Future renewal deadlines are added automatically to your Bizit360 compliance calendar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which companies need FCC registration?

Most providers of interstate telecommunications, including many VoIP operators, are required to register, we'll confirm your obligation during intake.

What's the difference between the two packages?

The Network Access Bundle gets you registered with the FCC and listed in the Robocall Mitigation Database, enough for upstream carriers to accept your traffic. The Fully Authenticated Carrier Bundle adds your own OCN and complete STIR/SHAKEN setup, so you become an independent, fully authenticated carrier instead of relying on an upstream partner to attest your calls.

Do I need the Fully Authenticated Carrier Bundle?

If you want to sign your own traffic with "A-Attestation" (the highest trust level), operate independently, or your upstream partner requires it, yes. If you're just getting started and only need network access, the Network Access Bundle is enough to begin, you can upgrade later.

What happens if I already missed a deadline?

We can help you file late and, where possible, respond to any resulting FCC or carrier notices.

Are the NECA, iconectiv, and Certificate Authority fees included in your price?

No, those are separate annual institutional fees (roughly $500/yr each) billed directly to you by NECA (OCN), iconectiv (STI-PA), and your Certification Authority. We set these up for you and never mark them up.

How do I stay compliant after setup?

Ongoing filings (Form 499-Q/499-A, CPNI, RMD recertification, traceback response) are handled by our separate Telecom Compliance & Carrier Onboarding monthly retainer, most clients on either package add it once their setup is complete.
